Another plant accredits products
Arbtex, a participating manufacturer from Lorraine, Quebec, specializes in the design and manufacture of geotextile and recycled rubber products that are ecological and promote tree growth.
“The opportunity to participate in an accreditation program that values quality products developed and manufactured here is in line with the values of our young company. As the program is perfect for promoting sustainable and ecological alternatives, we are proud to associate this label with our products,” says Lynn Gagnon, Sales Director at Arbtex.
In addition to its tree stake holders, growth discs and tree trunk protectors that can also be used as planters, the company is launching a line of geotextile pots for above-ground cultivation, made here in Quebec.
Today, 112 manufacturers are participating in the program. The number of facilities where their accredited products are manufactured now stands at 164 sites which are spread across the five major regions of Canada.
