“Well Made Here” demands $3M from the Trudeau government to boost sales of Canadian materials
The organization “Well Made Here” has submitted a major request to the current Canadian government to promptly receive financial support.
Consumers and construction entrepreneurs are more eager than ever to purchase hardware and building materials that are not of American origin, possibly even avoiding Chinese products.
“It seems necessary that, alongside retaliation measures and boycott movements, the federal government demonstrates solidarity with its manufacturers by taking action, not just making speeches to the nation,” stated Richard Darveau, President and CEO of the non-profit organization. He referred to Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s weekend promise to promote the purchase of Canadian-made products.
