“Well Made Here” Letter Addressed to Justin Trudeau and Four of His Ministers

As agreed, following the consultation with manufacturers affiliated with “Well Made Here” regarding the role the government should play in our affairs, Richard Darveau, CEO, sent a request by letter to the Prime Minister of Canada, copying four members of his cabinet.

The addressed ministers are Jean-Yves Duclos as head of public procurement, Sean Fraser in charge of housing, Steven Guilbeault for the fight against GHG emissions, and of course, François-Philippe Champagne due to his economic mandate.

In order to encourage Mr. Trudeau to identify a file holder capable of exploring a collaboration between the government and our organization, the management of “Well Made Here” informed the politicians that the media will receive a copy of the said correspondence.
