160 sites manufacturing “Well Made Here” accredited products now participating in the program
The number of facilities where “Well Made Here” products are manufactured continues to grow rapidly now reaching close to 160 sites. These are geographically spread out across all five regions of Canada.
The latest sites to join: two in Ontario, one in Alberta and one in Quebec
Cornerstone Building Brands, manufacturer of a wide variety of building materials destined for the residential market, among others, has joined the “Well Made Here” program.
With manufacturing facilities across Canada including Mitten Building Products in Paris (ON), North Star Windows and Doors in St. Thomas (ON), and Ply Gem Windows and Doors in Calgary (AB), Cornerstone continues to position itself as a proud supplier of multiple lines of siding, shake, building envelope, windows and doors and more, all built for the Canadian climate.

Ply Gem has been serving its clients since 1947. Mitten Building Products was founded in Canada in 1959. North Star has been in existence since 1985.
Portes ARD
Portes ARD, a family business founded in 1982, makes steel doors for which the customization options are almost limitless, has joined the “Well Made Here” program. Its facilities, located in the Lachute industrial park, are housed in a 57 000 sq. ft. plant equipped with robotic lines for steel doors and an in-house paint chamber.
Given the constant growth of its activities, the company continues to invest in new cutting-edge technologies that will allow it to respond better to the needs of its customers.
